I’ll be switching between Ro and Penny for the night so excuse my slow replies. Thank you to everyone that’s interacted with me thus far. You’re all really wonderful.
From the way he speaks to the way he’s appraising her, she feels laughter coming on. It bubbles forth, spilling from her full lips like water and before she can help herself, she’s grinning widely. There’s just something endlessly endearing about his rambling and also, to a lesser extent, the fact that he doesn’t know her. It gives him a chance to form his own opinion on her, rather than base any particular ideas on her off of any preconceived notions. For that, she’s grateful. “I live here.” And then she’s confused as she tilts her chin, blinking rapidly. “The second furthest thing?” Of course, she’s aware that it’s simply a turn of phrase but she’s genuinely confused by it. What else would be further from her mind than the possibility of meeting a masked vigilante? (Source: whoistrulydivine)
The moment he’s properly introduced himself, she’s sorting through her thoughts. And then she remembers. Iron Fist. Interesting. “Is the other Ororo much older than me?” She can’t help but ask, rosy red darkening her cheeks the moment she’s finished speaking. It simply seems like such a vapid, childish question, and yet she can’t help herself. She just wants to know exactly how he views her. It’s better to be safe than sorry, after all.
From the way she hesitates, Ororo knows she’s said something wrong, or at the very least, something incredibly disconcerting. Backtracking, she’s laughing nervously as she shakes the other’s hand. “No. Well… I don’t know you.. yet. But I’m sure we meet.” She’s as awkward as can be as she retracts her hand following the brief shake, shoulders shrugging. “It’s nice to meet you, though, Jubilee.” ► The Excessively Detailed Headcanon Tumblr Meme

Peter Parker. His real name and not his superhero alias. It surprises her that he speaks of easily, as if she’s some close friend, which, from how he speaks, apparently she is. It’s jolting, nonetheless. “Don’t apologize.” With a laugh, she reaches out to shake his hand firmly as a shy smile works its way across her lips. “It’s nice to meet you, Peter. I’m Ororo, as you obviously know.” There’s a moment of hesitation before she drops his hand, sliding her own into her two back pockets as she surveys him with a curious gaze. “I’m guessing you and the other Ororo are close?” (Source: whoistrulydivine) |
I haven’t been on in a while but I promise to get more active on this account.
Once I get back from work, all and any replies will be dealt with. Also, thank you to new followers. You’re all lovely.
